Inspired by the iconic Sistine Chapel Mural
In Michelangelo’s painting, God’s finger is fully extended but Adam’s last phalanges are slightly shrinked. This means that while God is ever present, is man’s choice to reach out. If men want to touch God, they need to stretch their finger but if they don’t, they could live all their lives without ever finding Him. The shrinked Adam’s last phalange represents free will.
