DESCRIPTION
The aquatic ape hypothesis maintains that in its origins, the ancestors of the human race arose from the ocean. It says that about seven million years ago, our ape ancestors descended from the trees and were forced to live on the sea coast, surviving on crustaceans and mollusks. Then they went into the sea in search of food, swimming with their two legs, so after millions of years, their legs merged into a tail, like that of the aquatic mammals.
