DESCRIPTION
Mandragora autumnalis, mandrake, is a species of phanerogam belonging to the Solanaceae family, which was used extensively in Europe, medicinally. Its roots have been used throughout history in magic rituals, since its forks have a certain resemblance to a human figure; even today it's used in neo-pagan religions, such as Wicca.
